Henna care
Henna is a natural dye which takes some time to reach it's peak color. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions
Pre Henna care
- Ensure that your skin is clean, and free of any lotions/creams.
- Exfoliate if possible.
- Any manicures/pedicures/hair removals should be done before you get your henna
Henna paste care - ensures a deep rich stain
- Henna should be kept on your skin for at least 4 hours
- Dab your henna with mixture of lemon and sugar to moisten the henna. This will allow more stain to be absorbed by your skin
- Do NOT use water to take the henna off. Rub any oil on your henna, and flake it off
- Avoid water on the skin with henna for as long as possible. Henna will reach it's peak color 48 hours after paste removal.
Henna care- ensures stain lasts long
- Moisture your skin as much as possible
- Avoid any exfoliate or prolonged exposure to water (swimming)
